Leah “DragonMuffin” Vissers, founder of all-female crew Queen City Bittys, returns to her roots

Seven years ago, B-girl Leah “DragonMuffin” Vissers held her first breakin’ event at Common Market in Plaza Midwood. Since then, she has gone on to found the Queen City Bittys all-female breakin’ crew; help produce the Blumenthal’s Breakin’ Convention, and pass her craft on to the next generation of breakers through affordable children’s dance classes.

Saturday March 30, she’s taking it back to where it all started with a cypher at Common Market Southend – part of the grand opening of its new location. There will be a $100 prize for the best dancer as well as plenty of stuntin’ rights up for grabs.

The cypher starts at 7 p.m. at 235 W. Tremont Ave. (the new Common Market location).

Stay tuned for an in-depth profile of Queen City Bittys, this May in DefCLT.
